Jeff Price, CEO and co-founder of TuneCore; an online distribution service for music. Jeff co-founded the NY based independent record label spinART Records, and for the past 15 years he has been its General Manager and President. SpinART has distributed over 180 releases since its inception, including bands artists such as Frank Black, The Pixies, Apollo Sunshine, John Doe, Vic Chesnutt, Echo and The Bunnymen and many, many more. Since 2004, Jeff Price has contributed to the founding charter and organization of The American Association of Independent Music (AAIM), a non profit non-governmental trade organization representing the interests of its independent label members. After years as a band manager, promoter, and restauranteur, Nic Adler took the helm at The Roxy in 1998. An entrepreneur and community builder, Nic was drawn to the cutting edge concepts he found in the burgeoning field of social media. In 2007 he launched a blog that went on to win The VH-1 Rock Honors Award for Best Music Venue Website. Always an early adaptor Nic began tweeting in 2008 and is now the #1 Music Venue on Twitter and Facebook in the world. As his social media program grew, Nic began to see the importance of being a part of the larger community of the Sunset Strip and the City of West Hollywood. Nic is co-producer of the Sunset Strip Music Festival, which draws over 30,000 music fans to the city every August and celebrates the Strip's legacy as it highlights some of music's newest talent. He is Vice President of the Sunset Strip Business Association and a regular at City Council meetings where he is leading efforts to bring the community together. Kelli Richards is the CEO of the All Access Group and host of All Access Radio. Tonight's Guest is none other than the famous guitarist, rock-n-roll legend, Craig Chaquico. Craig is the former lead guitarist of the famous 1970’s rock-n-roll group Jefferson Starship. Craig has been playing music professionally since he was fourteen. Craig Chaquico and has had over 30 years of success with acts such as Jefferson Starship in the 1970’s, Starship in the 1980’s, and as a solo jazz for the last 20 years. He has released 11 albums as a solo artist including “Acoustic Planet,” which was nominated for a Grammy in 1994 and reached number one on the Billboard charts. His most recent album, “Follow the Sun,” was released in 2009 and features contributions from Peter White and Rolf Hartley as well as a “more modern, sensuous” cover of Kenny G’s hit song “Songbird.”Craig has also worked as a studio musician for 25 years and contributed guitar tracks to Gumby: The Movie in 1995. Outside of recording music, he has worked with the Washburn Guitar Company to design his own signature series guitar, the Washburn EA-20. As an environmentalist, he asked that the company plant a tree for each Chaquico guitar made.
