As VP of Worldwide Publishing, Entertainment and New Media Markets at Apple, Lisa and her team built a $3 billion revenue stream that accounted for 60% of Apple’s bottom line. She has held executive level positions in Fortune 100 companies, headed venture-funded entrepreneurial initiatives and provided strategic business consultation for Xerox, Kodak and HP among others. Currently Lisa is in charge of business development and project management at “nsquared solutions,” a software development services company.
Jamie DeWolf is a nationally recognized slam poet, spoken word comedian, writer, editor, producer, photographer, and filmmaker. As a member of the performance trio The Suicide Kings, Jamie has toured the country with a diverse array of acts including Sage Francis, B. Dolan and The Dwarves. He is a National Poetry Slam Champion, the Oakland and Berkeley Grand Slam Champion, a YouthSpeaks Mentor, a featured performer on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, and the creator of Tourettes Without Regrets, which has become the longest-running freestyle battle and largest slam on the West Coast and been awarded the “Best of the Bay” by the SF Guardian multiple times. Jamie has performed and led writing workshops at over 130 universities, high schools and juvenile detention centers across the globe and his work has been featured on 60 Minutes, UPN, and NPR.
John C. Cook spent nearly ten years as the Director of Product Marketing and Business Development at Apple, and has since held a variety of roles in distinguished companies such as Palm, Inc, Hewlett-Packard, and Amazon, among many others. A self-described “disruptive products guy,” John has built his career around developing innovative technology solutions – diving under the hood of the products he manages, building great teams and delivering award-winning products that have excited customers worldwide. Currently, John is “doing the start-up thing inside a big company” as the Head of Product Development and Product Management at Nokia.
