For more than a decade, Carla was a senior member of the equity syndicate desk and executed initial public offerings for UPS, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Ariba, Digitas, and others. She is also the author of two influential books: Expect to Win and the soon-to-be-available Strategize to Win. Carla has been featured in Fortune’s “The Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America” and “The Most Influential List” as well as Black Enterprise magazine’s “Top 75 African Americans on Wall Street” and “Top 75 Most Powerful Women in Business” among others. In August 2013, President Obama appointed Ms. Harris as the chairperson of the National Women’s Business Council.
Stephanie Redd is an author, speaker and life coach whose work revolves around understanding her own self worth as well as helping teenage girls and young women do the same. She is a former editor for the Daytona Times newspaper in Daytona Beach, Florida, freelance writer for eHow.com, and writing tutor at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. She holds a Master's Degree in Merchandising from Florida State University and is a graduate of The Foundation for Holistic Life Coaching, having studied under the tutelage of Alan Cohen.
