Klayton, the artist behind the one-man musical project Celldweller

Klayton is the artist behind the acclaimed one-man musical project Celldweller. Klayton is a multi-instrumentalist, artist, producer, songwriter, performer, programmer and remixer. Known for his extensive sound design and production work, Klayton’s Celldweller music is a hybrid fusion of digital and organic elements: intricately designed soundscapes that take cues from electronic genres like drum 'n bass, electro, and dubstep, woven together with aggressive rock/metal and orchestral elements. Celldweller music has been featured in countless television shows, films and video games including Need For Speed, Deadrising, Robocop, Iron Man, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, X-Men, Call of Duty: Elite, and CSI (Superball Spot). Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Karen is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and animator. In 2008 she released her first album Playground Isolator, co-produced with Frank Gryner (who has worked with the likes of Rob Zombie, The Dandy Warhols, and The Cult). Karen and Frank’s latest collaboration, a 12-track concept record called Idiot Savant, released late last year, tells the story of Ian, a 9 year old boy whose inner genius is lost on those around him, in the hopes of inspiring listeners to reclaim their inner child and “return to the playground.”
