In addition to Ambrosia, David has been a key collaborator in the music industry. He is well known for his duet with Bette Midler on multiplatinum Beaches soundtrack on Atlantic, and collaborated and performed with Michael McDonald & James Ingram on “Maria” from The Songs Of West Side Story; Wynonna on “Why Now” track from The Other Side CD. He wrote and sang with GRP keyboard artist David Benoit’s Top 5 AC hit “The Key To You,” as well as “Prove Me Wrong” for movie score and multiplatinum soundtrack to White Nights, starring Mikhail Baryshnikov & Gregory Hines on Atlantic. He performed guest vocals for Quincy Jones, James Ingram, Kansas, .38 Special, Michael McDonald, Doobie Bros., Pat Simmons, Andrae Crouch, Larry Carlton. He wrote & sang 3 tracks on Alan Parsons “Try Anything Once” Arista CD and was the guest vocalist on Al Stewart’s legendary “Year Of The Cat” and “Time Passages” albums.
